Covenant College Phasing Out Quest
Covenant College will gradually phase out its non-traditional organizational management major offered through Quest. New enrollment continues through spring 2010, and student support services through the Quest office will continue through 2011 to allow students to complete their degrees. Upcoming enrollment dates and locations can be found on the Quest website.
"We are committed to maintaining the same high level of academic integrity and personal attention we have always provided our students," said Dr. Ginner W. Hudson, dean of organizational management and executive education.
Covenant College Quest has served working adults in downtown Chattanooga and other locations in Tennessee and Georgia for 25 years, providing a quality education to dedicated and capable professionals who returned to college to complete a bachelor's degree in organizational management. While gratefully acknowledging its fruitful ministry, Covenant's senior administration recommended and its board of trustees approved phasing out Quest to focus more strategically on the College's mission as a Christ-centered, residential, liberal arts college.
"We are very thankful for the positive impact of the program in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas," said Dr. Jeff Hall, vice president for academic affairs. "We are committed to strengthening connections with the local community through purposeful exploration of vocations, internships, and career placement."
